- Before gluing antislip tape, it is necessary to remove all dirt from the surface, then degrease it and dry it. The ground has to be dry and smooth. When installing outside, the temperature should exceed 10oC for minimum 7 days before and after gluing the tape.
- Then unstick paper strip which protects gluing area of the tape.
- While gluing, it is necessary to tighten the tape gently and press firmly to the ground. Pressing the tape to the ground by 5–10 minutes is recommended.
- On smooth surfaces, it is necessary to glue particular strips of the tape every 10–20 cm approximately and 0.5–1.5 cm from the edge of the stair step. It is recommended to glue two strips of the tape, of any width, 2 to 5 cm from one another on stairs with heavy pedestrian traffic.
- The tape shall not be glued on grout between tiles. It is recommended to cut the tape approximately 5mm from the grout.
